Product features:
It has high or extremely high initial permeability and maximum permeability, low coercivity and low saturation magnetic induction.
Product usage: High sensitivity and small power transformers used in weak magnetic fields, magnetic amplifiers, relays, chokes, magnetic heads for magnetic recording devices, magnetic shields, various wound iron cores, cut iron cores, laminated iron cores, etc.
Mumetal is 80% nickel with additions of iron and molybdenum as main elements in turn this alloy offers an extremely high initial permeability. It is only moderately resistant to moisture and atmospheric corrosion, it used mainly in in transformer cores but is well known for its magnetic properties which are used for shielding electrical components from magnetic fields. "HYMU 80" has a minimum DC permeability of 80,000 at a flux density of 40 gauss when heat treated by the recommended procedure and test in accordance with ASTM 596.

Soft magnetic alloys
Soft magnetic material includes a wide variety of nickel-iron and nickel-cobalt soft magnetic alloys and pure iron for high performance components requiring high initial and maximum permeability coupled with ease of fabrication.
Sophisticated equipment, advanced technology and the expertise developed for producing aeronautical grade alloys are employed for manufacturing, high performance soft magnetic material. Starting with ultra clean raw materials, special processes and techniques are used for melting and refining this material under controlled atmospheric conditions in the Air Induction Melting, Vacuum Induction Refining and Vacuum Induction Melting furnaces.The final product is manufactured through a combination of forging, hot and cold rolling, wire drawing and heat treatment depending on the customer`s specifications.
 
 
Permanent magnet alloy
A magnetic alloy is a combination of various metals from the periodic table such as ferrite that contains at least one of the three main magnetic elements: iron (Fe), nickel (Ni), or cobalt (Co) etc.. Such an alloy must contain but is not limited to one or more of these metals. Magnetic alloys have become common, especially in the form of steel (iron and carbon), alnico (iron, nickel, cobalt, and aluminum), and permalloy (iron and nickel). So-called "neodymium magnets" are actually alloys of neodymium, iron and boron forming the crystal structure Nd2Fe14B . The strongest magnetic element is iron, which allows items made out of these alloys to attract to magnets.
